2009 Football Schedule

It will be Falcons and Raiders and Coyotes and Wildcats in 2009. The Bobcat's first ever Football schedule starts Sept 3rd and features a 10 game schedule (plus two scrimmages already played). Many of the games are against new schools including home and away matchups with neighboring Keller Timber Ridge which opens up just a few miles down the road.

Frisco Heritage, North Forney and Wyle East are other schools either opening in 2009 or in their first year.

Kennedale and Prosper are established schools. Perhaps the most difficult matchup of the year could be Prosper who was the 2008 State Champs at the 3A level.

3 Football teams are scheduled; Black (which is the top team ala JV), Blue and White. All 3 teams play on Thursdays. The first half of the season has split schedules with Black in one location and both Blue and White in another. The last 5 games are sure to be crowd favorites as all 3 teams play back to back starting at 4:30 and finishing with a 7:30pm kickoff of the Black team.

Thursday Oct 15th vs North Forney Falcons is "up and coming" which is the equivalent of a school's homecoming (except there is nobody to come home yet).

The final game of the year is on a Friday, Nov 6th. All home games are at NISD Stadium for the Black team. Thursday Spet 17th features the first ever ste of games at the BNHS campus which is sure to draw a good local growd.
