Here’s your chance to advertise in this spring’s inaugural High School baseball and softball program guides. It’s very affordable: ¼ page: $75, ½ page: $100, 1 page: $150. If you did not get a chance to order and would like to see what we have available, you can check it out at our Booster Club meeting tomorrow night...Wednesday, January 6 at 7:00 pm.

If you already placed your order and did not have a chance to pick it up before Christmas, you can do so at our meeting tomorrow night as well.

BOOSTER CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Parents and players are needed for a field work day at the baseball fields Sat Dec 12th 10am-2pm. Work will include placement of clay bricks in the mound and batter box areas of the two fields as well as some equipment setup. Please bring shovels and gloves.

We will also be building the rolling batters cage and a couple of screens.

We will also be mixing in infield conditioner and will need some rakes to to that. Also, if anyone has access to a heavy roller that would be useful.

BaseballBoosters, Concessions responsibilities for the UIL football playoff game at Northwest Stadium on Nov 13th. We will clear more than $2000 and might get closer to $3000 depending on the temps and teams (Aledo is one of them, likely Little Elm is the other), for the baseball booster club.
We need 2 teams of people to run concessions (home and visitor sides). Each side will need 15-20 people. Players (students) should attend and work as well. My experience with this is that it is good to have 8-10 boys doing the actual selling (and stocking bottled drinks) while adults are keeping the food processing and warming things (like cheese, chili, hot chocolate). What I can tell you is that we can really make money if we stay ahead of the hot chocolate demand.

We will need a core group to show up at 5pm (Maybe 4 per side) to get things warming before the gates open. The rest of the people need to arrive around 5:45pm and work until about 9:45pm closing the concession stands.

We are fortunate to have the event (a prime playoff game on the first Friday is a good draw). In one night we will be able to make more money than we can across a bunch of smaller events. Now we need the support of the volunteers and players to be certain we are successful.

1st shift: 5:00-9pm set up: 8 adult volunteers
2nd shift: 5:45-9:45 closing: 22-32 adult and player volunteers

General membership meeting at &30pm Monday in the Student Union. It should only be about 30-40min. We need some volunteers for fundraisers and other misc functions.
